Kodikkuus, from the Finnish, means coziness:
it conveys warmth, harmony and wellbeing.
These are the values which define my architecture.
Hus is the 'place' par excellence, the house.
Hence, the birth of Kodik hus.
At the base of Monte Rosa there is a small village settled by the Walser people in the XII century, where simple buildings are made by intricate wooden joints and stone blocks.
These are small gems which respond both to residential and functional needs dictated by the hostile mountain surroundings [more].
The tourism office is located on the main square in Alagna Valsesia.
The building built in the 80s reproduces the Walser architecture in a modern style with large windows.
